Joining the
Library:
Barre City and Barre Town
residents need current proof of residence to register. All others are welcome
to join for a fee of $10.00 per family for a full year with identification.
Children through eighth grade register in the Junior's Room; parents'
signature needed.

Good-sized popular collection
with plenty of mysteries, books-on-tape, and large-print materials. We have a
good selection of current periodicals and reference materials. Our Vermont
book collection is extensive, and we have a special collection of local
history artifacts and information. You are welcome to ask for anything you
don't see; we'll do our best to locate it for you.
East Barre Branch:
This wheelchair-accessible
facility offers Internet access and a good popular reading collection for
children and adults. Hours: Tuesday 9-12, Wednesday 2-6, Thursday 6-9, and Saturday 9-12.

Our volunteers provide weekly
home delivery service to patrons unable to visit. Call Jacque Walker at
