Aldrich Public Library offers downloadable audio to our patrons through a
Vermont consortium of public and school libraries who has contracted with
two audiobook vendors.

how it works. . .
For

Mountain Library Consortium and read the Recorded Books help. This may answer most of
your questions.
You will need your library card number to download items:
1.

Drop the 14th symbol or number on your card.

Before you can download you will need to download a free program called
Netlibrary Media Center. Go to
http://www.netlibrary.com/MediaCenter/Intro.aspx
and
follow the instructions to get your PC ready for Media Center. Read Quick
Start because there is some important information on this device before
you can use it.

Once you have downloaded the software you are able to search for your
title, or just click on a category of eAudiobooks. Any that say
"Download this eAudiobook" are available.

will redirect you to the site after you log in with your password. If you
time out you need to use the full
url
to log back in. If you don't the site will ask for a username and
password.

You can download ten (10) items on your card and have them for twentyone
(21) days.

If transfering a title to a device you must select the cd quality when
downloading.
7.
Netlibrary Media Center is compatible with many devices.
8.
There are over 2,000 titles available 800 of which are compatible with
iPods and Macs.
